We just had this imported from Japan and it's an incredibly impressive guitar that's shrouded with mystery. No branding anywhere (other than "VH" pencilled on the neck heel), it appears to be a two-piece ash body with a bolt-on maple neck (22 frets, 648mm scale length), it weighs 4.2kg's. Loaded with a full-sized Japanese volume pot (dated to 1988), USA made Floyd Rose and a JBJ stickered Seymour Duncan humbucker, professional grade components for what feels like a professional level guitar.
Unfortunately that's all we know about this one. It's known that both Tokai and ESP have made copies of it and this looks like exactly the same specs as those but there's no way to confirm the builder unfortunately. Restrung and given a basic service prior to listing, plays and sounds great with a functional truss, straight neck and plenty of life in the polished frets.
