The closest thing you will get to a Japanese made Gibson is something with Orville on the headstock!
Made in Japan in 1988, the LPC was one of the first true "Orville by Gibson" models and features a mahogany body with a solid maple top, a mahogany slim 60's neck and a 22 fret rosewood fingerboard. Weighing in at 4.3kg's, it's loaded with the factory Gibson USA PAF humbuckers paired with full-sized Japanese pots and Gotoh hardware.
This guitar is in good overall condition with the only exception being a few small signs of sticker tan on the finish. The frets are shiny and smooth with plenty of life left, the neck is straight and the truss works as it should. There's a small section of binding lift around the first fret that's been reglued and buffed smooth so it's barely noticeable in the hand, no structural breaks or repairs.
