1988 Yamaha Japan SAS-II Semi Hollowbody Electric Guitar (Navy Blue Sunburst)
1988 Yamaha Japan SAS-II Semi Hollowbody Electric Guitar (Navy Blue Sunburst)
Japanese made in the late 1980's, these SAS models were smaller bodied semi-hollow designed that are similar in size to a Gibson ES-339. Maple body with a birch centre block, slim profile mahogany neck with a 22 fret rosewood fingerboard (628mm scale, 44mm nut width), it weighs 3.2kg's. Looks to be all original (missing pickguard) with a TSG 1G bridge, YSEH1 humbuckers (made by EMG) with master volume/tone knobs and a coil split push pull and Yamaha branded tuners.
Good overall condition with a few light signs of wear as pictured. Frets are smooth with very light play wear, neck is straight and the truss works as it should.
