One of the highest end models available in Charvel Jackson's 1989 Japanese catalog, the Model 5A is a simple shredder's dream. Neckthrough construction wearing a bright metallic red flake finish, it features a maple neck with poplar wings and a 24 fret rosewood fingerboard (12-16" compound radius, 648mm scale length, 43mm nut width) and weighs 3.7kg's.
The previous owner swapped in a Bareknuckle Brute Force humbucker along with a Dimarzio volume pot and Dimarzio Clip Lok strap. The original Jackson branded tuners, locking nut and Jackson branded licensed Floyd Rose all work perfectly.
This guitar is in exceptional condition for its age with very few signs of cosmetic wear and tear as pictured. Received a full professional setup with 11-52's prior to listing, the frets have plenty of life and are shiny with only light wear and the neck is straight with a fully functional truss.
