Made by the Fujigen factory in 1989, this '62 reissue from Fender Japan was professionally restored prior to listing and is ready for another 30 years of love. Alder body bolted to a '62 profile maple neck and slab rosewood fingerboard (43mm nut width, 7.25" radius), it weighs 3.5kg's. Loaded with the original Fender USA ST-VINTAGE alnico single coils in the neck and middle positions and a high-end unbranded vintage alnico in the bridge position along with the original pots and wiring.
Our tech Vaughan gave this one a full refret prior to listing including a radius correction to 7.25", installation of a brand new bone nut and Jescar 80/40 vintage gauge nickel frets so it feels just as it would have from the factory in 1989.
Good vintage condition with light signs of wear and tear as pictured. The neck is straight and the truss adjusts well, the frets are perfect and it plays great.
