Made by the Fujigen factory in the late 80's as part of Fender Japan's "Pro Feel" series, the STM55 was a Stratocaster model with a contoured cutaway at the neck joint and a Gibson style 628mm scale length for a more compact feel and full access to all 22 frets.

Alder body bolted to a satin feel maple neck (10" radius, 41mm nut width), it weighs 3.3kg's. Loaded with three Fender Japan HOTROD single coils, Gotoh tuners and an STM End Rox Stratocaster style tremolo system. There's a Fender USA neckplate installed otherwise it appears to be all original.

Well loved but well maintained vintage condition as pictured with only cosmetic wear and tear, no breaks or repairs. The neck is nice and straight and the truss adjusts as it should. The frets have some fairly heavy wear and pitting but still play smoothly as pictured.
