Japanese made in 1989, this is one of the early model RG-550's from Ibanez. Very desirable Road Flare Red finish on the basswood body with a Wizard maple neck and a 24 fret maple fingerboard with dot inlays, weighs 3.3kg's. This one has a Dimarzio Air Norton/Tone Zone Humbucker combo along with the original S1 in the middle position, this one is still loaded with the original Floyd Rose Edge system and Gotoh tuners.
Good overall used condition as pictured, given a full professional setup and service prior to listing, the frets have plenty of life and are smooth and shiny with basic playwear. The small cracks at the headstock are fairly standard on these models and the area is rock solid with no structural issues and is smooth to the touch.
