The closest thing you will get to a Japanese made Gibson is something with Orville on the headstock!
Made by the Fujigen factory in Japan in 1989, the LPS was one of the highly desired models at the top end of the Orville range that was originally factory loaded with a pair of Gibson USA HBL/HBR humbuckers (although a previous owner swapped them out for a Seymour Duncan JBJ and a Dimarzio). Built with a mahogany body, carved solid maple top, a mahogany slim 60's neck and a 22 fret rosewood fingerboard, it weighs 4kg's.
This guitar is in good overall condition as pictured and appears to be all original with a few cosmetic blemishes as pictured and a very small headstock repair that is rock solid and smooth to the touch. The frets are shiny and smooth with plenty of life left, the neck is straight and the truss works as it should, received a full setup and service prior to listing.
