According to their catalog, "Rockoon is the high performance guitar created by the skilled and uncompromising craftsmanship of Kawai". Essentially these are the boutique style range from Kawai (in collaboration with Schaller) that were made in Japan in the 80's and 90's.
A high end model located in the "Special Model" section of the 1989 catalog, the RB-110PZ is a professional grade bass with a sen ash body around a neckthrough maple/mahogany neck and phenol unlined fretless fingerboard and weighs 3.5kg's. Loaded with a Schaller bridge with a built-in Piezo pickup system controlled by volume/tone knobs and a filter toggle to switch between "natural" and "acoustic" modes along with matching gold Schaller tuners, it appears close to all original.
Good used condition with some signs of wear and tear but no breaks or repairs. The truss has room left for adjustment and the neck is straight, restrung with fresh flatwounds prior to listing.
