Inexplicably appearing in the Greco catalog for 1992 then seemingly disappearing from their range, these models were aimed at recreating the famous Ampeg AUB-1 model of the 1960's in a short-scale form. Soft maple body with f-holes through the black/redburst finish bolted to a maple neck with a lined rosewood fingerboard (30" scale length), it weighs 4kg's.
Loaded with a passive Jazz Bass style pickup controlled by volume/tone controls, it appears all original and has only basic signs of wear as pictured. Currently strung with flatwounds and plays nicely as it sits with a straight neck and adjustable truss.
