Made in Japan in 1990 (prior to the company being acquired by Fender), the 6122 was a modern version of the classic Chet Atkins Country Gentleman design and featured a slightly slimmer neck and body for a more comfortable playing experience.
Fully hollow maple laminate construction with a two-piece slim C maple neck and a 22 fret ebony fingerboard (43.5mm nut width, 648mm scale length), it weighs just under 4kg's.
Loaded with the original gold Bigsby tremolo system along with a pair of original Filtertron humbuckers and Gretsch branded tuners, comes in the original fitted hardcase.
Good used condition as pictured with some wear to the finish from basic use, no breaks or repairs. The truss works perfectly and the frets are shiny and smooth with only light wear.
