To quote the Rockoon catalog - "Rockoon is the high performance guitar created by the skilled and uncompromising craftsmanship of Kawai". These are the boutique style range from the Kawai factory (in collaboration with Schaller) that were made in Japan in the 80's and 90's.
The TG-60 was part of their "Super Material" line of guitars and is built with a soft maple body bolted to a hard maple neck with a 24 fret rosewood fingerboard (628mm scale length), it weighs 3.4kg's. Factory loaded with a Schaller Golden 50 humbucker and a Rockoon roller locking tremolo for a smooth trem experience, it also features a fully functional factory overdrive/distortion circuit that gives a very musical punch when switched on.
Restrung and given a basic setup/service prior to listing, the frets are smooth and the neck is straight with a fully functional truss. Cometically it's very clean with only a few small signs of cosmetic wear as pictured.
