Standard cosmetic condition for a HM-2 as pictured, works as it should!
Formerly owned by the owner of Kings Cross Conservatorium and Rock 'n' Roll High School in Melbourne, used extensively by the students at both over the years.
The Boss HM-2 is one of the most divisive Boss pedals ever released and is a cult favourite in the pedal community. The HM-2 produces a "chainsaw" style distortion that is unique and very hard to replicate without using the pedal. They were favoured heavily by metal bands in the 80's and are still just as popular today with guitarists looking for an iconic metal tone.
The HM-2 features a Level knob for the overall volume, a Color Mix section to boost/cut the Treble and Bass and a Distortion knob to increase the level of chainsaw..
Produced from October 1983 until October 1991.
Made in Japan until 1988, then moved to Taiwan
