Made in Japan in the mid 1990's, this Fernandes MG-80x is a signature model for Hide (of X Japan) that the previous owner painted orange and slathered with stickers.
Features a slim maple neck, 24 fret rosewood fingerboard and a mahogany body, weighs 3.1kg's. Gold Gotoh hardware gives it the reliability and performance it deserves.
Loaded with Fernandes SH and DF pickups (modelled after EMG and Dimarzio) along with a master volume knob, 3-way toggle and a "straight-to-output" killswitch.
Well used cosmetic condition as pictured but was given a restring and service prior to listing with some 11-52's for a beefy feel. Frets have some wear but are shiny and polished, the truss is adjustable and the neck is straight.
