P-Project guitars were Japanese made high end offerings pioneered by Fernandes from the 1980's and were mostly limited run models or one-off custom builds. The BUB-4 "Bottom Up Bass" was a limited production Jazz Bass design introduced in the early 1990's and was designed to meet the needs of professional musicians.
Solid light-ash body wearing what they called a "Sakura Snowstorm" finish that shows plenty of beautiful grain highlighted with a white pearlescent tinge. One-piece maple neck with a 38mm nut width and 21 frets, it weighs a whopping 5.2kg's. Loaded with the original EMG JJ single coils with an active MSP tone circuit to help shape your tone, the aged gold hardware appears all original and all works perfectly.
Professionally serviced prior to listing, it's in great used condition with only light wear from general use. The neck is straight and the truss works as it should, the frets are shiny and smooth with plenty of life left.
