Made by the Fujigen Gakki factory in 1991, this is the base model '57 reissue from Fender Japan. Solid basswood body bolted to a slim C '57 profile maple neck (43mm nut width, 7.25" radius), it weighs 3.5kg's. Loaded an aftermarket pickguard with the original pots and Fender Japan alnico single coils, the original Fender bridge with stamped saddles and original vintage style tuners are still working perfectly.
This is one of almost 50 guitars that we recently acquired from an Australian collector who kept most of his guitars safely stashed away and only used them very lightly at home.
Good vintage condition with light signs of wear and tear as pictured including light surface scuffs but no major bumps/dings of note. The neck is straight and the truss adjusts well, the frets are vintage gauge and fairly flat but are shiny and smooth and play well.
