Made by the Fujigen factory in 1991, the ST62-770LS was Fender Japan's '62 Reissue Stratocaster that was factory loaded with Lace Sensors and a mid-boost system to replicate Eric Claptons loadout. Vintage White finish on an alder body with a maple neck and rosewood fingerboard (7.25" radius), it weighs 3.7kg's. Loaded with the original Lace Sensor in the middle position with a Dimarzio rail mini humbucker in the bridge and a standard Stratocaster pickup in the neck position for a huge range of tones. Still loaded with the original tuners, the bridge has been upgraded to an unbranded model with a nicer block and roller saddles. The fingerboard has also been lightly scalloped professionally by Leadman Guitars in Japan (who likely also did the rest of the mods).
Good overall condition for a 30 year old guitar as pictured. Given a professional setup and service prior to listing. Truss works well and the frets were polished, they have life left and play smoothly with some pitting and playwear. The pots were flushed and lubed and the jack was cleaned so it sounds great.
