Made in Japan by the Fujigen factory in 1991, this is a "Standard" model Stratocaster that was designed to be closer to the American Standard model instead of a vintage reissue.
Basswood body wearing a really cool metallic pink poly finish bolted to a maple neck with a 21 fret fingerboard, it weighs 3.4kg's. Loaded with some 90's Fender US-VINTAGE single coil pickups and the original Japanese pots with some custom wiring (including what seems to be two volume knobs and one tone controls), the neckplate has been replaced otherwise the hardware appears all original as pictured and is working perfectly.
This is one of almost 50 guitars that we recently acquired from an Australian collector who kept most of his guitars safely stashed away and only used them very lightly at home.
Good vintage condition with only light signs of wear and tear as pictured. The neck is straight and the truss adjusts well, the frets are shiny and have plenty of life.
