Made in Japan in 1991 as part of Gibson's experiment with Japanese manufacturers, the Orville EB-3 was a Jack Bruce style SG bass with all the Gibson trimmings.
Mahogany body with a set mahogany neck and a 20 fret rosewood fingerboard (30.5" scale length, 38mm nut width), it weighs 3.1kg's. Loaded with the original Japanese mini humbucker/mudbucker pickup configuration along with a four-way rotary switch with a capacitor choke for the true Jack Bruce sound.
Plays and sounds great as it sits with a smooth low action and a fully adjustable truss, it's in good used condition as pictured with no breaks or repairs. The neck is straight and the frets have plenty of life left.
