Made by the Fujigen factory in 1994, the ST57-53 was Fender Japan's entry level '57 reissue model. Basswood body wearing a timeless sunburst finish bolted to a 21 fret maple neck (7.25" radius), it weighs 3.3kg's.
Loaded with Fender Japan single coil pickups, this one has two replacement tone pots along with an upgraded Sprague Orange Drop tone capacitor for a brighter tone roll-off. The original vintage style tuners and Fender stamped saddles are working perfectly.
Good used condition for a 30 year old guitar as pictured with a few basic scuff, bumps and bruises. There's a small bit of over spray near the neck pocket, no signs of structural damage anywhere though. The neck is straight and the truss works perfectly, the frets are shiny and play smoothly with some light pitting and playwear.
