Made in Japan in 1994 (dated from the pot codes), the Proaxe series were exactly as the name suggests: Pro Axes. An excerpt from the Kramer catalog:
When Kramer started designing the new ProAxe series we went directly to the source of today's music, to the players. We studied playing styles and techniques to find out which features needed to be included in our latest series and what components needed the Kramer touch of ingenuity. Each prototype was tested and retested by today's hottest players who all agree, the time has come for a new great guitar. This great guitar.
Built with a Dinky-style mahogany body, bolt on three-ply maple neck, 24 fret ebony fingerboard (628mm scale length), it weighs 3.3kg's. This one's loaded with a Fender Custom Shop single coil in the neck position paired with a Dimarzio DP216FW Mo' Joe humbucker in the neck controlled by a three-way pickup selector, master volume/tone knobs and a coil split mini toggle for the humbucker. Gotoh tuners and a Floyd Rose Pro locking tremolo keep it tuned to perfection.
Good overall cosmetic condition as pictured with light signs of playwear, given a professional setup and service prior to listing. Frets have life left and are shiny but have some wear to them, neck is straight and the truss works well. Seems to have a replacement blank neck plate.
