Made in Japan for the domestic market, the MG series were superstrat style models made to compete with Ibanez superstrats and have sleek rounded contours and insanely good playability.
This is a modern MG2S model with a gloss black finish on the basswood body bolted to a slim maple neck that weighs 3.4kg's. Simple master volume layout with two stock Alnico V humbuckers and a three-way switch, it's loaded with the Yamaha RM-PRO II locking tremolo system.
Plays nicely as is with cosmetic blemishes as pictured. Professional setup and service performed before listing so it's playing well, the frets were polished and the truss was adjusted.
