Made by the Fujigen factory in 1995, the ST62-70 was Fender Japan's mid-range model '62 Reissue Stratocaster. Aged olympic white finish on an alder body with a maple neck, rosewood fingerboard (7.25" radius), it weighs 3.5kg's. Loaded with the factory fitted Fender USA ST-Vintage single coil pickups controlled by a 5-way selector. Previous owner appears to have had the pickguard swapped out and the pots changed to CTS ones and a new switch installed with Orange Drop capacitors, otherwise it seems original.
Reasonable used condition for an almost 30 year old guitar as pictured with some light cosmetic wear to the finish and some patina on the hardware. Restrung and given a full professional service prior to listing. Truss works well and the frets were polished, they have life left and play smoothly with some light pitting and play wear (appears to have likely been a professionally used guitar), pots were flushed and lubed and the jack was cleaned.
