Made by the Fujigen factory in 1995, this TL72 was a custom order version of the regular '72 model Telecaster (rather than the more famous Thinline or Custom models from that era). This one wears a well aged "Olympic White" finish on a basswood body bolted to an oval profile maple neck and rosewood fingerboard (7.25" radius, 21 frets), it weighs 3.7kg's.
Loaded with the original TL-CURRENT pickups from Fender Japan, it's got replacement pots and wiring otherwise it appears factory original with Gotoh tuners and a six-section individual saddle bridge.
Well used condition as pictured with some dings and chips from general use including, no breaks or repairs to be seen though. Given a setup and service prior to listing, the frets are worn but play smoothly and the neck is straight with a fully functional truss rod.
