Made by the Fujigen factory in September, 1997, the Orville LPC-75 was a Japanese built '60's reissue Les Paul Custom made under the instruction of Gibson. Orville models are critically acclaimed as they offer authorised Gibson style and specs coupled with the famous Japanese craftsmanship.
Mahogany body with a maple top, slim 60's mahogany neck and bound rosewood fingerboard (dark enough that it looks ebony), it weighs 3.9kg's. Loaded with Japanese humbuckers and electronics along with Japanese hardware and Gotoh style tuners, this one seems to be all original as pictured with the exception of maybe the knobs and truss rod cover.
Restrung and given a basic service prior to listing, plays great and sounds very very nice. Neck is straight and the truss works well, frets are smooth and have plenty of life. Previous owner painted a mural on the back of the body as pictured, probably removable but it's honestly really cool as it is.
