Japanese made in 1999 by the Fujigen factory, these Epiphone models proudly wear the full traditional "open book" headstock that not many "budget" models usually do. Why? Maybe because Gibson knew these were closer to a Gibson than any other Epiphone model they'd made.
Built with a carved maple top and chambered mahogany body, mahogany neck, 22 fret rosewood fingerboard, it weighs a reasonable 3.7kg's. Loaded with the original Epiphone humbucker in the neck position and a Seymour Duncan JB in the bridge.
Received a full professional setup and service prior to listing including a partial headstock repair from a previous break. The repair was injected with glue then clamped and cleaned before being wet sanded and buffed so it's smooth and undetectable to the touch. The frets are shiny and smooth with plenty of life left and the neck is straight with a fully functional truss.
