Made in the USA in 1999, this Stingray is a players dream. Three-piece ash body with a really beautiful satin feel maple neck (44mm nut width, 34" scale length), it weighs 4.3kg's.
This one's been modified with a Villex (a brand favoured by Flea) pickup, an AGUILAR OBP-2 two-band active EQ, a master volume and a bypass toggle for the OBP-2. The finish on this one was also previously stripped back and buffed smooth for a soft feel. The neck also seems to have been lightly sanded at some point for a satin feel and the whole guitar feels super comfortable in the hand.
Given a full professional setup and service prior to listing, very nice players condition and is incredibly comfortable to play. The neck is straight with a fully functional truss and the frets are polished and smooth. The electronics were fully serviced and flushed so they're working as they should.
