Made by the Tokai factory in 1999, the JG66-85 was one of Fender Japan's last true '66 reissue models before replacing them with the generic "Classic" and "Traditional" models. Wearing a vibrant CAR finish with a matching headstock, it features an alder body bolted to a short scale maple neck with a 21 fret rosewood fingerboard (41mm nut width, 7.25" radius) and weighs 3.9kg's. Upgraded with a pair or Seymour Duncan SJAG pickups otherwise looks to be all original with Gotoh hardware.
Good used condition as pictured with some general wear and tear but no breaks or repairs. The neck is straight and the truss adjusts freely, the frets are smooth and have plenty of life left.
