Made by the Tokai factory in Japan for the 1999 catalog, the PB57-53 was Fender Japan's 1957 Precision Bass reissue without the price tag. Basswood body with a timeless two-tone sunburst finish, 20 fret maple neck (7.25" radius, 43mm nut width), it weighs just over 4kg's.
Loaded with an upgraded Aguilar "60's Era" pickup and a nice anodized gold pickguard otherwise it appears all original.
Good used condition as pictured with some finish wear and tear from basic use. Neck is straight and the frets are shiny with plenty of life, truss works as it should and the pots/output jack were flushed and sound great.
