Made by the Tokai Gakki factory in 1999, the ST62-70TX model was a higher end Japanese reissue of the '62 model Fender Stratocaster. Weighs 3.5kg’s and wears a heavily relic'd sunburst finish on an alder body, satin feel maple neck and 21 fret rosewood fingerboard. Factory loaded with Fender Texas Special single coil pickups on a replacement pickguard, the previous owner refretted it with jumbo frets and had it re-radiused to 12" for a more modern feel.
Restrung prior to listing and plays well with a fully adjustable truss rod, straight neck and plenty of life in the replacement frets.
