Made in Japan in the late 90's, this Soloist is part of the Grover Jackson "Supreme" series of guitars that were the Japanese equivalent of the Jackson Custom Shop. The S-330 originally cost 330,000JPY (around $3,000USD) and features a flamed maple arched top with ash wings surrounding a mahogany neck-through construction. 24 fret bound ebony fingerboard with sharkfin inlays (648mm scale length), it weighs 3.6kg's.
This one is loaded with the original Seymour Duncan STK-1N stacked single coils in the neck and middle positions and the original TB-5 humbucker in the bridge position controlled by a five-way pickup selector and master volume/tone knobs. Features the original Floyd Rose tremolo system (aftermarket arm) that works well and keeps tuning rock solid.
Given a full professional service prior to listing, frets are shiny and have plenty of life with some only very slight wear, the truss is adjustable and the neck is straight. Has a few small cosmetic dings and some checking to the clear coat but no breaks/repairs.
