Built in 2000, this is Fender Japan's base model '62 Reissue Jazz Bass. Made in the Tokai factory, it's built with a basswood body bolted to a maple neck with a slab rosewood fingerboard and weighs 4.1kg's. Appears to be all original with original Fender Japan pickups.
Reasonable used condition with some scuffs and light wear to the finish and hardware, restrung and given a basic service prior to listing with a truss adjustment and fret polish. Plenty of life in the frets and the neck is straight. Some patina and surface rust on the hardware but it's all still functioning as it should.
