We brought this back from our recent Japan trip because there's no way i could leave something with this much vibe there!
One of the original Gibson SG Gothic models made for a few short years in the early 2000s. Solid Honduran Mahogany body with a professional sparkle gold refinish on the body and neck (likely done 5-10 years ago based on the wear), 1-pc quartersawn mahogany neck with a '50s rounded profile, ebony fingerboard with a single inlay on the 12th fret, weighs 3kg's. Loaded with the original 490R/490T humbuckers and Grover tuners.
This one looks to have had two more inlays installed and removed at some point along with a re-fret as the frets are high with plenty of life left. The neck is straight and the truss works as it should, plays and sounds as good as it looks. No signs of breaks or repairs to be seen and the serial is still clearly visible after the refinish.
