Made in Japan by Edwards in the early 2000's (prior to them using serial numbers), this E-LP-85CD is a very fun Les Paul Custom from the more modern era of Japanese guitars. Bright (almost florescent) orange finish, it's made with a mahogany body with a carved maple top, a nice thick 50's mahogany neck (rare on Japanese guitars) with an ebony fingerboard, it weighs 4.6kg's. Factory loaded with a pair of Seymour Duncan 59N and JB pickups and black Gotoh hardware.
This one came to us with an amateur neck repair with mismatched paint touchup. We had the break re-repaired professionally in-house so it's rock solid and had the area around the break clear coated so it's smooth to touch. Received a professional setup prior to listing including a partial fret level, fret polish and truss adjustment. Neck is straight and the frets have life left.
