Made by Maton in 2001, this MS500 is one of the early models featuring the original 24.5" scale length. Silkwood body with an aged natural finish, Queensland maple neck with a 21 fret Indian rosewood fingerboard and graphite nut, it weighs 3.5kg's. Loaded with the original Maton humbuckers (coil split switch for the bridge pickup) controlled by master volume and tone knobs along with a three-way rotary selector.
Nice used condition with a few bumps and dings but no breaks or repairs. Frets have some light wear and pitting but were polished and play smoothly, truss adjusts as it should and the neck is straight. Pots were flushed and cleaned prior to listing along with a restring and basic setup. Seems all original.
