Made in 2002 by the pioneers of the Sustainer, the Fernandes FR-55S was a HSS superstrat loaded with their Sustainer Lite system. Fernandes is a Japanese company that has created countless great guitars over the years, and this is a great example of one of their more modern builds.
Solid body with a RMB (red metallic burst) finish, it weighs just over 3.5kg's. HSS pickup configuration with a Sustainer Lite on the neck pickup to create those huge long drones that could ring out for days. 648mm scale length with 24 frets, these feature a Fernandes branded locking tremolo system.
Good overall condition as pictured with just a few bumps here and there. Electronics are serviced and working well. Frets have plenty of life and the neck is straight.
