One of only 250 ever made, the Vintage Player 50's series were a limited edition run of guitars from the early 2000's made by Fender in Mexico and are considered by some as the best MIM guitars ever made.
Taking inspiration from the 1954 model Strat, it features an alder body with a soft V profile neck (9.5" radius) and weighs 3.6kg's. This one has a replacement pickguard that's loaded with Fender USA ST-VINTAGE single coils. The original Kluson-style staggered tuners and six-point bridge keep the guitar tuned perfectly.
This is one of almost 50 guitars that we recently acquired from an Australian collector who kept most of his guitars safely stashed away and only used them very lightly at home.
Good used condition with light signs of wear and tear as pictured including light surface scuffs and some surface rust on the hardware but no major bumps/dings of note. The neck is straight and the truss adjusts well, the frets are shiny and have plenty of life.
