2004 History (by Fujigen Japan) ZLS100-CFS Les Paul Standard (Quilt Maple Sunburst)
Made by the Fujigen factory in Japan for distribution within the Japanese domestic market, the History ZLS100-CFS is a great example of how good modern Japanese build quality still is. Mahogany body with a thick solid maple cap (wearing laminate quilt veneer), slim 60's style mahogany neck with a 22 fret rosewood fingerboard (43.5mm nut width, 628mm scale length), it weighs just over 4kg's.
Factory loaded with Grover tuners and a Japanese bridge/tailpiece, this one's got a fresh set of Gotoh humbuckers installed along with a replacement volume and tone pot, otherwise it appears to be all original.
This one's in very reasonable condition with a few small bumps and dings as pictured. Given a full professional setup and service prior to listing, it's got shiny frets with plenty of life and a straight neck with a fully adjustable truss. There's some small stress checking in the poly finish around the headstock, not structural at all with no damage to the neck itself and no movement under pressure/tension.
