Made by the Fujigen factory in 2006 (when Torino Red was introduced to the catalog), the ST54-95LS was a '54 Reissue Stratocaster with factory Lace Sensor pickups and a Clapton style mid boost circuit. Alder body with a maple neck (light V profile, 10" radius, 22 frets), weighs 3.7kg's. Loaded with the factory fitted Fender Lace Sensor single coil pickups controlled by a 5-way selector, the original active mid boost circuit gives more tonal variety than the traditional Stratocaster wiring.
Before arriving with us this one had undergone a relic job to the body along with a refinish and relic to the neck (serial number/"Made in Japan" insignia missing but the neck stamps on the body and neck match and are both labelled ST54-95LS). Restrung and given a basic service prior to listing, the neck is straight and the truss adjusts as it should. The frets show some signs of wear but were polished and play smoothly.
