Made in Korea in 2006, this was the Epiphone "Korina" model that was designed to replicate the original '58 Flying V without spending a fortune. Made by the Unsung factory in South Korea, these are a higher quality build than modern Chinese Epiphones.
Epiphone advertises these as having a Korina body with a Korina neck (looks like a maple neck though) and a 22 fret rosewood fingerboard, it weighs 3.7kg's. Slim 60's style profile with a 43.5mm nut width, this one appears to be all original with Epiphone Alnico Classic humbuckers and Grover tuners.
This is one of almost 50 guitars that we recently acquired from an Australian collector who kept most of his guitars safely stashed away and only used them very lightly at home.
Received a full professional setup and service prior to listing including a fretboard oil, fret polish and truss adjustment. Plays and sounds great with plenty of life in the frets and a straight neck.
