The S5470 is an S series solid body electric guitar model introduced by Ibanez in 2008. It was made in Japan by FujiGen as part of the upscale Prestige line. The S5470 was among the first 24-fret S series models made widely available for the public, introduced along with the S5470F, S5470BW and EGEN18 in 2008.
The S5470 features a mahogany body bolted to a maple and walnut neck with a 24-fret rosewood fingerboard with offset dot position markers. Ibanez pickups with a Hot Grinder humbucker in the neck, a Short Tracer single-coil in the middle and an aftermarket Dimarzio Tone Zone in the bridge. Components include ZR2 double locking tremolo bridge with a removable ZPS3 tuning stabilizer, a locking nut and Gotoh tuning machines.
Given a full professional setup and service prior to listing including a fretboard oil, fret polish and electronics flush. The frets show very light wear but play smoothly with minimal pitting, the neck is straight and the truss works as it should.
