Made in Japan in 2009 by Tokai's Hibiki Custom Shop (famous for limited run models and custom builds), this HLS160 features a seldom seen Natural Matte finish on a flamed maple top for a very unique look and satin feel.
Two piece mahogany body with a solid top, long tenon, mahogany '59 profile neck and a Madagascar rosewood fingerboard (12" radius, 43mm nut width), it weighs 4.6kg's. Loaded with an original Tokai PAF '59 in the neck position and a Seymour SH-5 in the bridge along with CTS pots and Bumblebee capacitors.
Very good condition as pictured with light wear from general use. Professionally serviced prior to listing, it plays with a straight neck, adjustable truss and plenty of life in the frets.
