Traded in at our Gladesville store, this one was well loved during the previous owners high school life before being put into storage for a few years. Loaded with a Seymour Duncan SH-6 in the bridge position and the original neck pickup. Loaded with some Beefy Slinky's and tuned to D Standard, the truss works well and there's plenty of life in the frets. This is a 2011 build that was made in Korea.

Take to the stage with the ready-to-rock PRS SE Standard 245 solidbody electric guitar. The comfortable singlecut mahogany body and wide-fat neck deliver great playability and warm, detailed tones. The shorter 24.5" scale length of the Standard 245 makes bending easier and gives your strings a slinkier feel. A pair of humbucking pickups give you all the firepower you need for everything from a rock gig to a wedding band. The affordable PRS SE Standard 245 is an affordable tone machine that's ready for any gig!

The PRS SE Standard 245 is fitted with PRS's wide-fat neck profile. A hallmark of PRS quality, neck shapes are, of course, critical to your playing experience. Perfected after years of prototyping, the wide-fat neck is based on designs Paul Reed Smith did in the '70s and '80s for Carlos Santana, Peter Frampton, and Howard Leese of Heart. The SE Standard 245's rosewood fingerboard is butter under your fingertips. And with the iconic bird inlays, no one will mistake your axe for anything other than a PRS.

Fat tone from a pair of humbucking pickups
The PRS SE Standard 245 is fitted with two PRS-designed 245 humbucking pickups. Check it out - you've got that chunky neck in your left hand, and you're voicing mellow chords one minute and tearing up the fingerboard with an insane fusion solo the next. You need versatile pickups to do your playing justice. You got 'em. Take it from the Sweetwater crew - the PRS SE Standard 245 has the tones to take your music wherever it wants to go.

PRS quality in every guitar
All of Paul Reed Smith guitars are designed for top-notch performance right out of the case, and the SE Standard 22 is no exception. Since 2001, Paul's SE Series has provided you excellent tone and playability at an incredibly affordable price point. With the launch of the Standard line, you'll have all of the tone you expect from a PRS at an even more accessible price point. Constructed from quality tonewoods and components, these PRS instruments carry on a commitment to quality that's been the brand's hallmark since 1985, when Paul Reed Smith himself started handbuilding guitars for some of the most elite players in the world.
