Made by the Fujigen factory in 2012 and reimagined by Mojo Stompboxes in 2023! The PB62 is Fender Japan's reissue of the '62 model Precision Bass with a basswood body, maple neck and slab rosewood fingerboard (20 frets, 7.25" radius, 42mm nut width), it weighs 4.2kg's.
We had this one professionally refinished in metallic purple by a local painter using a highly durable acrylic enamel paint that sparkles in just about any light. We're really proud of how this one turned out and really wanted to give people something that was a little bit different to the traditional guitar colour palette.
Other than the refinish and a new output jack the bass is all original with a Fender Japan pickup and volume/tone pots. Near perfect condition with only light signs of play wear to the neck and hardware, the refinish is factory fresh. The neck is straight and the truss works as it should, frets were polished and the bass was professionally set up prior to listing.
