Here is a truly unique instrument that walks the line between two worlds: bass and baritone guitar. The Squier Vintage Modified Bass VI is descended from the historic Fender Bass VI (1961–1975) that was embraced by both guitar and bass standouts in its heyday. Jack Bruce played one in the early days of Cream. George Harrison played one in the classic Beatles' "Hey Jude" video. Players like Bruce and Harrison fell in love with the rich low-end tone of the Bass VI as well as the hint of jangly midrange it produced. Squier has updated the baritone classic with a trio of custom Jaguar single-coil pickups that produce an array of low-end, gritty tone.
