This is the highly desired early model of the J Mascis Jazzmaster that features a Rosewood fingerboard instead of the Indian Laurel used on the newer ones.
Well loved condition as pictured, this was one of a handful of guitars that we recently acquired from the owner of the now defunct Kings Cross Conservatorium (formerly Rock 'n' Roll High School in Melbourne) and was used extensively for teaching and filming purposes. Restrung and given a basic setup prior to listing so it plays and sounds great with some wear in the frets and cosmetic dings as pictured.
