"Rabbit IS" is a Japanese company making high end boutique guitars and was founded by Kikuo Yoshioka (the man behind Crews Maniac). Made of solid African Korina with a transparent green finish, it's in great condition as pictured and weighs 2.8kg's. More info below from their website.

The Rabbit is USA series offers models with a mahogany body and neck, and models with a korina body and neck. The basic specifications are the same as the earlier USA-1 and USA-2 models, but the unique resonance of this body shape gives it a completely new character.

Models featuring a mahogany body and neck offer a pleasing, well-balanced sound across all frequencies, making them versatile enough to play a variety of genres. The moderate, comfortable compression is also pleasing, and its versatility means you won't have to worry about compatibility with amplifiers and effects pedals.

In contrast, models featuring a korina body and neck have a distinctive high-mid component, resulting in a clear and biting sound. Even when distorted, the core of the sound remains firm, possessing a strong tone that cuts through the mix.

*Body Design
: The body shape is a unique design based on the 1961 Les Paul Custom (SG) used in the Crews Vintage Line LED-1961. It uses a 3-piece solid mahogany and korina construction. The thin urethane finish gives it a beautiful appearance. This shape has characteristics such as short sustain and high tension in the higher positions, but the high-precision neck set and the 3-piece body, where the neck, pickups, and bridge are mounted on a single piece of wood, are close to a neck-through construction and improve upon these issues.

Compared to the USA-1 and USA-2 models, the thinner body shape results in a lighter, brighter sound with a rich, sparkling tone. As its appearance suggests, the sharp body edges contribute to a crisp, responsive, and well-defined sound.

*The meticulously designed neck joint system
: The neck set section employs a deep-joint set-neck system that extends all the way to below the front pickup.
In typical deep joints, a slight gap is created between the body surface and the neck end due to the angle, but "Rabbit is" uses a super-adjustable joint (Kittiri Joint) that precisely aligns the contact surface between the neck end and the recessed part of the body. This results in exceptional resonance without any loss of vibration between the body and neck.

* The pickup
in the front position is a Crews P90-type "VEGAS PU". While it features an old-school design with two Alnico 5 magnets, it boasts a good signal-to-noise ratio and reduced noise. It also produces a clear and powerful sound while maintaining a solid tone. It's a highly-regarded and attractive pickup.

The rear humbucker is the "USA-HUMBUCKIN'," designed specifically for the "Rabbit is" series. It was developed with output balance with the front pickup in mind.

The sound of the rear pickup alone, the sound of the front pickup alone, and the "chunky" sound that can be produced by mixing the two different pickups are all reasons why this guitar is so popular.

In all pickup positions, a natural, acoustic tone is achieved, encompassing a well-balanced range of high, mid, and low frequencies inherent in the instrument, while also offering a playability not found in vintage instruments.

Rabbit is uncompromising when it comes to hardware and assembly, from the wood used to the smallest parts. The machine heads are made by Gotoh Gut, a world standard. Ivory type tuning peg buttons are used to add an accent to the look. The bridge is an original wrap-around type that allows for octave tuning of each string.

The volume and tone pots utilize CTS's custom-made J-curve pots for Crews. While A-curves have a curve that appears immediately when turning the knob down from full up, and B-curves have a curve that appears before turning the knob down completely, the J-curve boasts ease of use with its smooth volume/tone adjustments, and is also used in Crews' high-end models.

The capacitor is a NOS (New Old Stock) oil capacitor. (This may vary depending on the production lot.)

Furthermore, a Closed Toggle Switch from Crews is used. By using a lower amperage specification than typical off-the-shelf products, electrical resistance is reduced, which means less signal loss at the contact points, allowing the instrument's true sound to be delivered.
