1978 Greco Japan M900 Mirage (Iceman) w/Dimarzio (Brown Sunburst)
1978 Greco Japan M900 Mirage (Iceman) w/Dimarzio (Brown Sunburst)
Made by the Fujigen factory in 1978 to emulate the Ibanez Iceman model that was conceived a few years earlier, the M900 was one of Greco's highest end Mirage models. Mahogany body with a t'bacco sunburst finish on the bound mahogany top set to a slim 60's profile neck with a 22 fret rosewood fingerboard, it weighs 4.1kg's.
Loaded with the original Maxon PU-1 in the bridge position and an aftermarket Dimarzio humbucker in the neck position, it's still got the original bridge, tailpiece, tuners and knobs to go with a new bone nut.
Received a full professional setup and service prior to listing and plays well with a straight neck, shiny frets and smooth action. The frets appear original and still have plenty of life and the truss is adjustable. Cosmetically it's clean as pictured with a few basic signs of wear.
