The bass has a Walnut/Panga Panga/Maple top with an African Mahogany body, which not only looks gorgeous but delivers a rich mid-low end. The Nordstrand Big Single pickups are a powerful, full-bodied option that retain the clarity of single-coil pickups. The Ibanez Custom Electronics 3-band EQ allows for easy and intuitive tone control, with the Boost and Cut for the Mid Control centered on slightly different frequencies for a range of favorable bass tones. The Gotoh machine heads provide precise tuning accuracy, and the MR5S bridge has adjustable saddles for variable string spacing to meet the specific needs of any bassist. Other features include an EQ bypass switch for precision tonal adjustments, a 3-way Mid frequency switch for changing the mid-tone between 250, 450, and 700 Hz, and a gig bag designed specifically to fit and protect the instrument.
