Moon (PGM) were established way back in the early eighties as a high-end manufacturer hand making guitars and basses for professional players on stage and in the studio. They famously worked very closely with legendary funklord Larry Graham.
Made in the 2000's, the JJ-5 model was a professional grade 5-string Jazz Bass. With a stunning two-piece ash body bolted to a maple neck with a classy ebony fingerboard (48mm nut width, 34" scale length), it weighs 4.5kg's. Looks to be factory loaded with Bartolini pickups along with an active Bartolini EQ system.
Very clean condition as pictured, looks to have spent most of it's life in a studio rather than on a stage. Received a full professional setup and service prior to listing, the frets are shiny with very little wear and the neck is straight with a fully functional truss.
